The Mira Costa Choirs 2nd annual choir mattress fundraiser is coming up

Sat., Nov. 10th, 10 am-5 pm, for one day only at a pop-up flash sale in the Costa cafeteria-turned-showroom.

There will be nearly 30 mattresses on display!

Firm, pillow top, orthopedic, latex, gel, and memory foam sets with full factory warranties are available.

Also on sale:  box springs, bed frames, mattress covers, sheet sets, and pillows.

All brand new, name brand, and on sale up to 50% off retail!!

Cash, check, or credit cards ok.

Financing, layaway, white glove delivery, and old mattress pick up available.



Students who refer family or friends will receive CASH for every mattress purchased by them:

$25 for 1 referral sale

$100 for 3 referral sales

$200 for 5 referral sales

$500 for 10 referral sales

Dakota Rose Aguilar Wood, Class of 2011, studied at CalArts for their BFA in the Photography & Media program; making prints using experimental/alternative analog color processes; musing mainly on the melancholic ecologies of the Los Angeles coastal landscape, focusing on critical studies in queer theory, which lends to deeper meaning-makings in art. Dakota, this is exciting work!

Kellen Kartub and Jack Danylik,  Costa Class of 2010, have been busy. Jack graduated from UCI in 2014 with a BS in mechanical engineering. At UCI he sang in the acapella group circle of fifths. Kellen graduated from Wellesley in 2014 with a BA in chemistry and is wrapping up her Ph.D. in chemistry sometime next year! She  sang in choir at Wellesley and at UCI. They are getting married in 2019. Congrats Kellen and Jack!

The Winter Choir Concert is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 14th, and this is your chance to support the MCHS Choirs by advertising in the Winter Concert program. This is one of our most important fundraisers, and it's your chance to reach both your choir student and hundreds of people in the Manhattan Beach community with your message!

November 2, Vocal Ensemble will be participating in the Biola University High School Choral Festival. With eight other high school chamber ensembles, this festival showcases some of the best high school performances in California. Vocal Ensemble will be premiering three selections. “Con Amores La Mi Madre” arr. by Bob Chilcott, “Stars” by Erik Eśenvalds and “And The Glory Of The Lord” from “Messiah”  by George Frideric Handel. This promises to be a wonderful performance. Good Luck Vocal Ensemble!
